New member here. I'm still familiarizing myself with the site, and thought I'd sign up in the meantime. I'd like to get involved in the book discussions, but I'm a bit selective in what I read and I'll have to skip the current selections. There were some good choices in the past though, I like to read in a wide range of topics in science, history, philosophy, etc. I'm a little behind the times, so currently I just got around to reading Pinker's The Blank Slate.
I'd consider myself an atheist and am interested in the topic, but I'm not sure if I want to read every book on the subject!
Anyway, I hope that didn't come across as too critical of the site.
