I think you have a great idea. I'll give it a try this coming week. Thanks!

Let me know how it turns out.

Holy smokes Santa was good to me this year. Ok, not Santa, but my family and girlfriend.
As I type this message I am nervous that at any moment it will be my last keystroke. For whatever reason this computer is on it's last leg. I run virus scans and am not finding a virus, but something is killing it quickly. Fortunately my girlfriend and father bought me a brand new Dell computer for Christmas. I'm still shaking my head wondering if this is some sort of trick. I've never had such a nice gift for any reason, so this is an incredibly big deal. I'm not sure of all the stats, but my brother says it is close to the top of the line. It has a 17" flat screen monitor too. I'm flipping out folks. This is going to be so nice once I get everything transferred off this piece of crap and over to the new system. |

Chris,
Be a man and be neglectful. It is in the best interest of all parties. Try getting him a catnip based toy to play with after lunch. It should keep him occupied until you can do something, like turning on the radio to drown out his yowling. This was a challenge for me for some time with Wild Thing, but if I could do it, you can do it. "the great events in life come from the books, rather than the people, one comes across." - Robert D. I'll have limited computer access the next few days. I'm dropping my computer off at the shop to have everthing transferred over to my new system. Just giving you all a heads up.

Not privy to the kitty situation.
Congrats on new computer. Extremely nice gift. Good to share/witness your mirth. Enjoy!!!! LoTD

I was diagnosed with skin cancer yesterday. Being so light-skinned has its downside. On Feb. 7th they'll slice off the little speck on my cheek.

Not according to what the doctor tells me or what I read online. Yes, it can spread and get nasty, but I have caught it early and am having it treated. The reality is I will probably have skin cancer pop up many times over my life. My grandfather had it and few people die from it.

well stay diligent and keep a close watch for it, I would recomend going to church and praying for salvation, but we both know that does not work.

I started getting a throat cold several days before camping and still have it today. My girlfriend had some Amoxicillin and I have taken several pills yesterday and this morning. Obviously I have something other than a common throat cold. Tomorrow I'll call my doctor, but today it is off to work.

Here I am finally posting months later. So much has happened that all I'll do here is mention a thing or two.
Work has never been better. I have already earned more money in Q1 of 2006 than in all of 2005. But my social life has been next to nothing and I'm literally exhausted. Today my girlfriend and I drive a few hours north and go Kayaking at Weeki wachee. It has been 20 years since I've been to this spring fed river, but Tina absolutely loves it and went only a few weeks ago. According to her you can actually reach out and pet the baby manatees as they swim next to your kayak and stare up at you out of the water in curiosity. Maybe I'll snap a picture and post it here. Ok, gotta go. |

I touched a manatee! She was right. You can actually reach out and pet those guys as they swim under your kayak.
Tina was almost knocked clear out of her kayak by a big manatee swimming under her kayak! We were holding on to trees to keep from floating down river, while we watched the family of manatees feeding, when all of a sudden I see Tina pushed up in the air by about 6 inches or more. The manatee crashed into her with a thud and if she wasn't holding that tree branch she would have been in the water easily. We laughed about it afterwards, but when it happened it was scary. |

Yes, there was every reason to be afraid, it is not widly known but the sea cow is actually a flesh eater. sea cows (especally the mad ones) demand human flesh on a regular basis.
You were very lucky! |
