I think Calvino and Hemingway do: is that correct?

Last night's chat session (August 9) was fun. Irishrosem, Mad Architect, lemmme think and I had an interesting time exchanging information and learning more about one another.

I would like to suggest we try to do these once a month. Thursday nights at 9 p.m. work well for me, but I would be open to other arrangements. Hopefully, next time we'll have more members participating. Victor Wooten

Musicians: TAB websites are being shut down...help

I am totally pissed about this issue that I just have recently found out about. I use a few websites to get me TAB music notations to learn songs and techniques from my favorite performers. Well, when I went to bassmasta.net recently, I was informed that there is legal proceedings against the TAB websites, which is trying to include imprisonment of the website creators, and that TABs are no longer available for many, many songs.

This is a bit insane. Most of these site are NOT...

A good idea... almost.

Hey guys.

I'm needing help finding out more information about a book for a friend. We were talking about books that we loved as children etc, and she said that she can remember a book that she read when she was younger [at least 10 years ago].

In short, it was quite possibly set in England pre and during the depression. There was some cracker who basically foresaw the depression, and went out and got a huge loan and stocked up on goods and lived throughout the depression as...

A few weeks ago I was perusing a Barnes & Nobles book store for something to read when I came across a display for a new book called, "The Secret." My first thought was this is probably some sort of Scientology book in disguise.

What a clever way to introduce Scientology to a new audience. I picked it up and scanned every inch of the book covers, front and back (or was it an audio book?) for any reference to Scientology or L. Ron Hubbard or any term I could link to...
